The mission of Khafre, Inc is to realize its critically important and intentionally bold vision to build monuments and memorials; offer programs, performances and workshops around education, music, health and history. We shall also provide resources to the formal and informal educators in the Mississippi Delta, engage in community outreach and connection and operate as a repository and distributor of information on the history, beauty and talent of and within the state of Mississippi, all for the overarching purpose of improving the quality of life of her sons and daughters.
The Local Organizing Committee of Greenville, MS (LOC) is a group made up of different like-minded individuals and organizations that are willing to sacrifice and work in a collaborative effort to make changes in our community. The overall objective is to establish a comprehensive plan of action through love and unity. This plan of action will consistently work toward an economic blueprint by pooling our resources together and establishing a strong financial base that will springboard programs working towards self-improvement and community development. The LOC is aiming to make the Black community a decent place to live!
Sterling & Rochelle Funches are the owners of SRF Photography. Sterling is an award-winning photographer for his work with the city of Wilmington, DE, the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival and the Riverfront Blues Festival over the last 10 years. Rochelle Funches is a crafter of one-of-a-kind art objects. Together as SRF Photography they offer original prints, photo restoration, video conversion, and one-of-a-kind art and gift ideas.
